India produces approximately 95,000 MBBS seats per year. Over 1.8 million students appear for NEET annually. The math doesn’t work for most deserving students.
Studying medicine abroad — at the right NMC-recognized university — is not a fallback. It is a legitimate, globally proven path that has already produced hundreds of licensed Indian doctors. The key word is ‘right.’ The wrong university, the wrong country, or the wrong consultant can turn a six-year investment into a dead end.
GGE exists to help students find the right path — with data, not promises.
Note: Fees are indicative and subject to change. GGE provides exact fee structures during individual counselling sessions.
Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in Class 12 (45% for SC/ST/OBC). NEET qualification is mandatory as per NMC regulations.
A valid NEET score is required for admission to NMC-recognized universities abroad. GGE will guide you on minimum scores per country.
Minimum 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year.
Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, NEET scorecard, passport, passport photos, medical fitness certificate.
Most programs are taught in English. Some universities require basic Russian proficiency — GGE provides preparation guidance.
Families should have clarity on total 6-year cost including tuition, hostel, living expenses, and travel. GGE provides a full cost breakdown.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) of India requires that MBBS degrees obtained abroad must be from recognized institutions for Indian graduates to sit the NExT licensing examination.
A degree from a non-NMC-recognized university means a student cannot legally practice medicine in India — regardless of the quality of education received.
GGE only works with NMC-recognized institutions. This is not a differentiator — it is a minimum standard. We decline to facilitate admissions to non-compliant universities even when students request it.
